>>I TOOK THESE ON TRADE THE OTHER DAY AND HAVE NOT MESSED WITH THEM THEY ARE POULAN, MCCOLLUM AND MAC, I WILL SALE OR TRADE WANT TO SALE OR TRADE AS LOT, WOULD LIKE TO TRADE FOR A GUN OR MAKE AN OFFER THEY ARE IN MY WAY TEXT OR CALL 931-622-4548 TEXT IS BETTER

That guy is FAR too stupid to be trusted with a sharp stick, let alone a firearm. A "Mccollum" AND a Mac eh? What a tard. I do see a nice 10-10, plus another 10-10 variant (or PM700, or PM55, or...) with a chainbrake in that assortment. Somebody might make out well dealing with this rube........................................just don't give him a "gun"...

Good looking Homelite Super XL

Looks nice, and is in my area. Too much money though. I'll contact him in a while to see if he'll be reasonable.

CLEAN Homelite Zip

That is one CLEAN Zip. NICE 36" sprocket tip large-frame Homelite bar. As it sits, it's worth about 1/2 of what he's asking in today's market. Maybe a bit more. That's IF the P/C are as nice as the outside of the saw.

Stupid editor isn't working right now. Will delete my previous post when I can...

Yup, that Zip is clean .... he lives in a pretty high $$ area up there. He had a big old Homlite a couple weeks ago that looked almost NIB ....

Hope I don't seem like I am abusing the thread, but I listed my Poulan Pro 415 on e-bay. I found it brand new on the shelf this winter, I haven't even run 6 tanks through it (Stihl 50:1 synthetic). I hope I don't offend anyone on here. I am selling it to help pay for my new Dolmar 9010. Type in Poulan 415 and it pops right up, there is a link to a video there also. Again, sorry if a offend any of you by mentioning it here.

Were you working on it before it was posted?...

yup... my brother called me about it... he called me to see what I thought. We've been looking out for something decent for him to start firewood for the new house.

SO....

....so is everybody else now...
 yeah, this, of course, doesn't help the cause.

I think I can recall MAYBE ONCE I posted something on here... and it WAS many days later...

... That's why I stopped posting them until a few days roll by, gives others a chance

Thank you (and I think I speak for EVERYONE on AS that's out looking for a deal, or a score... )

I DO NOT have THREE346's... so, ONE would be kinda nice.... ;)

Yes, I have three 346's :buttkick: 2 of them are NE's I got from eBay, and the OE is a Complete rebuild (which I got locally for $20). They're a hoot to run, I'll tell ya! :msp_w00t:

I can't seem to part with any of 'em!:D

Anyway Jay, most people will go down the list of emails in chronological order, and as long as you have your phone # in there and you're the first, you have a chance. The seller may wise up and not sell it, or raise his price because he probably has 20 emails by now.
I was just tryin' to spread the wealth, I wasn't tryin' to mess ya up, I had no idea you wanted one.:msp_razz:

yeah, well...HOPEFULLY...

not the case, at least in my PAST experience... a friend of a friend bought a saw that was NO MORE than 15 minutes from me...WEEKS after I emailed the guy 3 times... ) It was a email-the-guy-right-before/during-checking-the-email type thing....

Those 2 things, MIGHT go hand in hand :( as WatsonR pointed out a bit prior.....

doesn't EVERYONE??! :dunno:

Pretty sure I got screwed big time on an ebay purchase. I was looking for a project and found a 288xp on ebay and bid on it and won. Here was the sellers description

"this is my husqvarna 288 xp that i wanted to keep but i just need the noney. it comes with everything you see here plus a working chainbrake and clutch cover that has the metal handle. the saw will start and run but it wanted to flood out, so im just assuming it needs carb rebuild. the saw has very good compression".

I get the saw and it has 50psi of compression, scored piston and cylinder, and a cracked crank case. Now how in the HE** did he have it running if all this was wrong with it when he had it? Well this was the first time I have bought a project off of ebay and it will be the last. I sent a message to the fella giving a chance to make it right but probably won't get a response. Any suggestions?

I would report it to ebay, then go from there. That is too bad the first project saw you got from there is junk. I have had good luck with parts on ebay and I have gotten one saw off of there and was lucky that it was as advertised.
