I was surprised how inexpensive some of the boom lifts were to rent at a local Home Depot - something like $500/week. Then they sell them used after 3 years, just like their saws. Might be another way to go (instead of one 26 years old)!

Are you going to go look at it? He's over an hour from me. I really want one of those saws but am finally drawing the line for the time being. I shouldn't have bought the last saw (ms650) but was too good of a deal.
