I saw it on Ebay/Craigslist

I ended up getting the saw, and yes it has a burned p/c. The guy is from Yonkers NY. He was fairly decent about it when I showed him the scored cylinder wall through the plug hole. I ended up getting it for $260. Otherwise its in nice shape, its got a Stihl 28" bar on it.

Good for you. Always glad to see a member pick up the good ones.

Anyone ever try other online auctions ubid, ebid and on and on? I did try ebid searched for stihl chainsaw and no hits.

I just tried Ebid and I must be doing something wrong. I typed in "STIHL" and was expecting maybe a 100,000 hits and only got 11. -They were all concrete saws from 2 sellers. Maybe someone knows how to use this?

looks like it should....toasted Piston. Make sure you check for leaks after you replace... she looks good otherwise...( darn it !! )

Then the box pictured below will open up. . . Right click and paste into the address bar, then click OK:

I believe asking why someone got banned is a banning offense itself. I would let that one lie where it is.
