***** Vintage Homelite XL Chainsaw Auto Oiling - 10655a 14" bar & chain | eBay

:hmm3grin2orange:

Yep. For extra boost. I think that's actually somebody's attempt at adding a manual oiler pump to the little bugger.

I think you'll find the market is very bi-polar as it pertains to the 1*** series Homelites,
especially the 1130G. Sometimes they bring big bucks, and other times you can't give them
away. They won't hold that value.

I hope they get back on a down swing long enough for me to pick up a parts saw and a 43-48" bar, and a .404 sprocket ....:D

Bars and sprockets are cheap enough, it's a matter of knowing where to look.

Next time you're over on the coast, cruise through some of the mom and pop shops, especially if you make into Oregon.
I was in a shop once and they had a spur sprocket they didn't know what it fit, I got it for $2.50. It happened to be a .404"
spur for a 990G.

Will do Jacob. Most of the mom and pop shops in my area are long gone. Victoms of local enviromental regulations. Original owners passing away without passing on the business too. Auto Electric and Carburetor is gone. Bills is long gone. Bill (and his son) are still around, but the old invetory was sold decades ago. Bill's son Dennis has recently gotten a shop going again, but all he has is new stuff. Forrestiville Saw Shop is gone. Ukiah Saw Shop is long gone. There's a shop up in the Ft Bragg area that I've heard is still around. The stihl and husky shops around here are all relatively new (20 years or less) and don't have much of anything older left. I have a couple minor 'connections' left in the area, but they don't have any big saw stuff anymore. Sold it all already.....

JJ. What are you doing? Don't tell the guy from Cali where to buy up all the good stuff.
Sorry folks, locals only. Move along now...

Maybe I'm coming for one of these and I know you know which one I'm talking about!
