Well Rick I'm sorry to hear that you had issues with floods, housing, and storage. Also am sorry to hear that these issues delayed the shipping of items you sold. You and I apparantly don't see eye to eye as far as what a "fair" price is (ebay market value or otherwise). I don't want to get into that, other than to say that I don't appreciate you charactarizing folks here as "wanting something for nothing" just because they don't want to "pay" what you believe is a "fair price" (based on feebay auctions I guess). You're free to sell your stuff wherever you wish of course.

I noticed that you didn't address the comments made by Tim and Ric (other than the "abandoned ship" bit). This isn't me coming out of the blue and "kicking you in the back" like you said in a VM. I was going to let your post here stand unanswered (giving you the 'last word') until you sent me that VM. If you feel that my part in discussions with those guys (and with Chris and Chris) in this thread has painted you in an unfair light, then I'm sorry. I don't like seeing people get ripped off (or at least holding the bag for a long time), and it appeared that way to me regarding Chris and Chris. As far as I knew, nobody ever mentioned floods, or loosing storage space, or anything else like that in regards to the delayed shipping of items that guys had payed for.

It did appear that you'd abandoned ship to play with new hobbies. It also appeared to me that you'd used this place (and this hobby) to gather up $$$ to jump into those new hobbies. I'm also sorry if I came to those conclusions in error. Looks like that was indeed the case. I shouldn't have said anything in the first place....:bang:

Aaron,
I haven't been here long enough to know all the history on this, but I'd like to congratulate you on taking the high road. You can't know about Rick's personal problems that caused him to delay shipment unless he tells people about it. The fact that you are willing to apologize for your part in any misconceptions is very big of you. Kudos for your stand-up attitude!

looks like Rick found another toy he had to buy fast. It will turn up on his youtube channel in a week or two I bet.

I doubt any of these were up very long and possibly the same buyer hit all of them.

I didn't think it was going to sell so fast. Looks like I could have gotten a little more huh??? Oh well still got me some $$$ and someone got some good projects. I got 3 Homelite 17's and a 7-21 going in the garbage later if anyone wants to stalk that!

Ric thanks for stalking me...I feel flattered! Glad we could be friends all these years and then your right here to stick the knife in when i'm away from the scene for a little while. Ya know its tough to have fun collecting and running saws when you lose your place to cut and run them! Keep watching those youtube videos cause every time you do...your making me $$$ cause im a partner!

I could buy that new for less than that here....... and have a warranty. :msp_mad:

I think I paid $1050 for mine with a 36" and extra chain new with two year warranty.

So the guy goes and uses it a couple of times and now thinks it has appreciated in value:dizzy:

Don't know if these are "aggressive in the hardcut"......

HOMELITE CHAIN SAWS FOR SALE

This guy keeps relisting and relisting. One's an OLD Homlite (26LCS maybe?), while the blue one is NOT a Homelite. Somebody here identified the blue one the last time I posted these, but I can't remember what they said. Putting them up again in case anyone's interested. This guy has been listing for a year (along with a nice looing McCulloch 35 that he's been relisting for $100 for at least a year). Maybe a fellow could get them for a realistic price. I live near the town that the seller mentions, and could help somebody here check them out. Just let me know...

Here's the $2000 McCulloch 895

Rare 50" McCulloch 895 Chainsaw

He's finaly dropping his price a bit. Had been listing for between $900 and $2000 (and back and forth) for over a year. Won't even respond to my emails or phone messages anymore. Lee has corresponded with him with about as much success as me. A month ago, the guy dropped his price to $600. Now it's at $400, where it has been for a few weeks. Still too much money for the saw in that condition, even being a somewhat desireable model and having the long bar. It looks ROUGH in the pics. He doesn't mention ANYTHING about the internal condition of the saw. Buyer beware.....

Dumbass

McCalla "Pro Mac" 140 Chainsaw

Sigh. He's still at it. Lowered his price a bit, but not enough. The nice looking RH start 10-10 that he had (and that I was coveting) appears to be gone. He had it listed (with this saw) for too much money. Somebody either fell in love with it and paid the price, or haggled him down. The saw he's listing here is NOT a Pro Mac. Also not a 140. Probably a 1-40 or 1-43. I do like the bar on it.
