stihl 090 ???????????????? Stihl 090 AV 090AV Chainsaw Vintage Old Rare Saw 070 090G 088 880 | eBay

advertized as a 90 but has a 070 starter. AV models came both sizes.

If he takes a pic with top cover off here is how to tell the difference. Decomp arm and pin location.

Immaculate silver, and black Sachs dolmar, craigslist sebastopool.Under north bay/marin in California. 120 maybe? Can't read on the handle but says 5.0 hp on the ad. Guy want's 325, or trade for small echos, or stihl saw. Looks almost new.

Norm, That saw would be a 112.
Not really worth the 325.00 but ya never
know these days.

Roanaker, I have a line on a rough Lombard GS6 locally. I have been unsure what to offer for it. It is complete with a big b&c and helper handle. It has been stored covered most of the time, but directly on the ground. I really want it, its a really cool saw, but don't wanna screw myself by paying too much for saw that may be hard to fix. What do you think is a fair offer? It's a decoration at the moment...

I honestly can not give an opinion on that saw because I just started looking at them myself. I can say that directly on the ground is the worst place you can store a saw, short of at the bottom of a lake. The Lombard GS series was originally powered by the Homelite 24X1 eninge and was rates at 6hp, the second version was powered by the Homelite 24X2 engine also rated at 6hp but was later changed to 7hp. A lot of the time people find the Homelite engine markings and assume the saw is a Homelite but, to the best of my knowledge, there was never a actual Homelite branded 2 man saw. On a related note the first Poulan saw ever built was a model 2400 two man that was also powered by the same Homelite 24X1 engine.

EDIT:
Check the saw out very closely before making an offer because there is a good chance the saw will be locked up tight. If it is I would say it is not worth much at all, though a locked up one just sold on Ebay for something like $350.....

Yet another new spelling....

Huquavana 41 Chainsaw - City of Toronto Home/Garden Items For Sale - Kijiji City of Toronto Canada.

Clean condition but methinks a wee bit pricey...

Just a wee bit pricey, especially compared to this one.......

Husqvarna 41 chainsaw like new same as Stihl 026

Here's a couple more from the same seller, maybe someone can work out a package deal.....

Husqvarna 372xp professional chainsaw tons of new parts fully rebuilt

Husqvarna 395 XP pro chainsaw bigger than Stihl 066

395 xp 60 foot bar?????

"This saw can handle up to a 60' bar" I'd hate to see the tree that needed that big of a bar.
How long would that take to sharpen? :hmm3grin2orange:

Good deal my friend, did have me wondering on the model. I also have not seen many silver and black ones. I guess it would be a good trade if somebody wanted one, and had a small saw to give up. You know when I see Dolmar I jump on it, just in case it is one of those unpopular models like a 166 or something.

Farmsaws!!!!

$200....no recoil, scored, PHO. I'm a millionaire and didn't know it. I didn't pay much more than that for a running perfect 6 cube P-62.:msp_confused:

WHAT? HOW? WHY? Farmsaws come on!! good saws but nothing compared to the P series, Guess I'll buy some Orange and grey paint for my parts saws! Got couple P38's Should fetch me a grand by the end of the week!!!!!!
I bought both my running 405's good condition saws from Thomas1 for not much more than that, and Tomdcoker hooked me up "REALLY REALLY good with a 525 for half that!!! WTF
