a few thoughts about this post..

First off, The seller here is a freind and some great folks to know...
They are becoming very knowledgable on the homey stuff but have only been in it a few years now.

Second is,, I have been buying and selling on ebuy for about 8 years now and have learned much about it. To use the buy now format tells you want they want. If you need it then buy it. If it dont sell it only costs a about a buck to list again.. If you need the part you can always make an offer too if it dont sell..

the buy now is a safe option.. ebuying can be a crazy world as many of you know.. I have seen it go many different directions.. Besides my chainsaw world I also deal in antiques and collectibles and other areas..

A couple years back I stumbled into a cool vintage poolon chainsaw that was in a weird category, not chainsaws. It started at 99 cents and was only about 20 bucks to ship... That newbie seller did follow through and sent it for the 20.99 I sent him but learned a costly lesson there.

On the other hand I was selling some vintage license plates and about 4 people asked me for a 1946 plate. I did not really want to sell it so I put a buy now for 1200 bucks. Next morning It was sold:jawdrop:

I'm having a heck of a time finding a piston for this thing. Oem is sky freakin high price wise and the only aftermarket I can find is a Golf which I would prefer not to use. I guess I will if I must though.

Any of you Husky guys out there know if the 45mm piston from a 51 is compatible?

Rofl I just bought the exact same one for $300. No diamond blade but a new one is less than $300...

I doubt it. Seller says that he has 47 and 73 parts saws. I don't think you would have left them behind.....
