The auction maybe at just over 200.00 bucks
now, But it ain't over yet. Could go way high
if bidders don't know what there looking at.

yeah i had that in the back of my mind when i was typing out that reply.... :wink2:

Not sure that lots of other people could... it's the parts that kill this project and he has them all!! :msp_biggrin:

lol, Honestly, i was looking at that 797 the first time that is came up on ebay and everybody was talking about it. The only reason that i wasnt brave enough to mess with it was that i already have a couple CP's and a 125c on the way to mess with.

I think if that wasnt the case, i would be looking for a 797 and not a 125 for the engine and porting differences.

That being the case, i would call leeha first since he does seem to be sitting on all of them, has tons of experience with them, and if i couldnt get him to sell me one, i would bet my lunch box that he knows somebody that has one to sell or knows where to come across them.

You dont get the kind of saws in your garage like he does without knowing where they're at and how to talk to people to get them to let go of them.

That goofball had it up on the US eBay site before he relisted in Australia. That starter looks like it spent most of its life on a lawnmower (Honda?) before getting slapped onto that saw and being subjected to that back yard beer-influenced paint job.
:jester:

It just looks like ebay au cause McBob is always fishing ebay.com for a catch and his link went through ozland.

That saw has been up at least 3 times now and last auction had no reserve and was up tp about 350 but he must have canceled it or a bidder backed out.

Interesting to see how this one ends. Those starters shouldnt be too hard to find.

Yeah but why does he have a video of another saw running? WTF is up with that???? To me that means that this one doesn't run, Honda starter and all......

I can't tell you how many posts I've seen on car/truck forums, about manual transmission problems, and the poster thinks it's his "sink rows"....

Yep........................and when those same yahoos talk about their juicebox transmissions, they rattle on about the "stall speed converters" they're getting for 'em......:bang:

.
Check out paragraph three :msp_ohmy:, it really makes me want to jump in the car and drive all the way out to Cypress .

Chainsaw McCulloch 35 Mini Mac Tree Eating Fool Chainsaw

Bring in your dead mowers weed eaters and blowers and I'll take them as trade in. The other day a fellow bought a mower for $75.00 with his trade ins he ended up paying $35.00 (He traded in a large late model mower, String trimmer and an electric hedger).

A "large late mower", string trimmer, and electric hedge trimmer only got the guy $40 in "trade in"?????:msp_unsure:

This ad has been listed off & on for about a year. The same sellers have also been trying to sell some unidentified chainsaw bars.

****(3) CHAINSAWS-McCULLOCH/HOMELITE/POULAN - UNKNOWN CONDITION - MAKE OFFER****

****7 CHAINSAW BARS ALL SIZES ****

You've gotta remember though................................there's a Homelite "XL Textron" in the mix. Desireable models (especially when some idiot puts a 20" bar on one). This is a trend I've only been seeing for the last six months or so. People seeing the little "Textron" or "a division of Textron" wording on the UT# tag and thinking it's a model designation. I've seen "Homelite Textron 16 inch chainsaw" type linstings quite a bit on CL recently. At least they usually spell Homelite and Textron correctly. Those idiots need to help the other idiots who are listing "Machulaks" Mccollugs", and "McGreggors" get their spelling correct.....:bang:

That $40.00 trade-in is what got my attention :dizzy:; I sure as hell wouldn't have included that info in ad looking for trade-ins.

The guys selling the three saws & bars were asking $200.00, IIRC, for a burnt-up unidentified small Stihl chainsaw. You can see it in the photos in the current ad.
