That $40.00 trade-in is what got my attention :dizzy:; I sure as hell wouldn't have included that info in ad looking for trade-ins.

The guys selling the three saws & bars were asking $200.00, IIRC, for a burnt-up unidentified small Stihl chainsaw. You can see it in the photos in the current ad.

Looks like a whipped old 011AVT. Not even worth 1/4 of what he's asking for it....

Stopped by a garage sale today. Raining. A few, misc. tools out front.

Picking around a bit. Older guy there says, 'I have a few chainsaws back here', pointing to a cabinet blocked by a pile of stuff.

I hadn't even asked. Heart starts racing (keep it cool, keep it cool, . . .)

He has 3 electric circular saws (aka Skilsaws, carpenter saws, etc.).

Oh well.

Well at least you got some cardio vascular exercise out of it.

Somebody should recognize these, correct?

Chainsaw collection

Why Carl why????:msp_confused:

Going by the price in the ad title.................I'll take the Poulan Pro 655 for $40 please!:D

There are some NICE saws in that pic. Wendell needs to buy the 10-10A on the second shelf. I have a friend here who'd be interested in the nice 10-series with the chainbrake that's next to the 10-10A. Several nice XL101 series saws, plus all them Remingtons. Carl come to your senses before you sell off too many saws.

He's dreaming if he thinks he'll get that price.....

McCULLOCH SUPER 797 CHAIN SAW WITH A 36" BAR IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH 123CC DISPLACEMENT THE COMPRESSION TEST ON THE SAW IS 170 PSI. THIS McCULLOCH IS COMPATIBLE WITH STIHL 090. MS 880 $695
keywords HUSQVARNA STIHL

I'm guessing he means "comparable". He couldn't get much over HALF of this listed price in an ebay auction. There's NO WAY he'll get that from a CL buyer....

McCulloch Super 797 Chainsaw King Of The Forest 125 SP Super 797 Chain saw | eBay

So what we see here is a man who has put a saw up for auction and then has also advertized it afterwards on his local CL thus
telling us that he will gladly sell it out from underneath any bids placed on ebay.

Sounds like real desperation and no integrety. Why even bid on the saw if he is going to end it early anyway. :bang:

Ebay has a selling format of a buy it now or make offer for guys like these that have trouble deciding if they should sell or not.

This guy does not like Jamie Schendel.

Dolmar chainsaw for firewood

If I were closer I would be a cord lighter on wood and have me a 60cc Dolmar. I could pick a cord of good hardwood off my property in a hour or so, I know there is quite a bit of black walnut and locus left over from the June 29th storm.
