I feel the pain. I had a guy list saw and I responed with 2 minutes after he posted it and told him I would be right there. I took my lunch early and went to get it and he told me sorry someone else bought it. Yes there are lots of scams on there and people are getting hosed all the time because of it.

Also for any UK viewers i noticed this new edition 346xp for sale for not a lot of money. Ebay item no #270476999546

I had my hand hovering over the buy it now but i already have one! managed to stop myself buying it. Ive no affiliation with the seller but i just thought it wasnt a bad price for a 346xp (pic shows it to be a new edition model)

That guy obviously never used it. Any good sized air motor, even a 1/4HP die grinder, makes a racket that will drown out most chainsaws.

I actually don't think that one is air powered, more likely hydraulic.

EDIT: That is an air fitting on it, dunno if it's 1/2 or 3/4", but we used hoses that size off a trailer mounted compressor to blow pea combines clean when I was younger, 100HP diesel running the compressor.

It would take an ungodly amount of CFMs to make enough power to run a 24" bar, probably looking at a 20+ (gas) hp compressor to run it. Running anything on compressed air is horribly inefficient.

It will in stock form run a little better than a 460 in stock form. Alot better anti-vibe though!

t is based on the Partner P7700, but with a larger 82.4cc engine (in case someone doesn't know), and this one was made in 1995.

Here is more info on that family of saws!

It is a pity that he won't ship it outside the US - it looks really clean!.....:censored:
