Looks like some non running muscle saws are bring
in the cake on the bay
Mcculloch Super 797 $609.00
Homelite Super 2100 $600.00

I wonder what a runner is worth.

That is almost true, except for the nice looking non running and only missing a handlebar Homelite 2000 114cc for $255.00. Also the two you mentioned are probably the pinnacle saw for each brand according to most fans of those brands. I mean ya got the strongest of the 123cc Macs and the last and most rare of the 114cc Homelites. I agree, a little high for non runners, but the 2100 didn't look like it needed much. Also It seems that offering a saw as a runner isn't bringing in the extra over a non runner like you would think lately.

Decent Remington for cheap! Remington PowerLite | eBay

Yup, judging from the fuel and air cleaner knobs. An SL-11 (65cc later version) has the fuel tank cover screwed on from the left side.

Only one photo of what looks like a 'white death' victim keeps me away.

What better background for your ebay photo than a junkpile...........................................................................Yikes!

And the 2000 had a scored P+C. "seller told me"
I wouldn't want to be the winner on that one.

Sucks to be me then. Seller said "VERY good compression" and "starts on a prime" , so I risked it. I am also aware that a saw can be scored and still make compression, but him telling you shows that he knew about it in advance and did not disclose it. We'll see what it looks like when it gets here , but if it is too bad then there will definitely be issues. I'm gonna hope for the best for now. That is the best you can do sometimes when buyin saws on the Bay.

That's freakin hillarious. You sell your crud on Ebay all the time and seem to not notice the real problems. You deserve everything you get. You were just selling a Homelite 2000 like last week.

What crud are you talking about and if I sold you something bad, why is this the first i've heard of it? I take extra pics and try most times to have a video of the saw running. What am I not covering. Also how am I supposed to change whatever it is i'm doing wrong if you don't tell me. I have sold you saws and unless I missed something you left feedback that said they were as described. I thought the 2000 I sold ran well and tried to show all the cosmetic issues and that buyer left positive feedback. I wasn't even ranting about the seller as I said I was hoping for the best. What I find hilarious is your ability to say this here and not to me when/IF there was a problem. The whole reason I do ripping cuts in most of my videos is because almost any saw can be coaxed through a bucking cut in smaller wood, but a ripping cut in a good sized peice of hardwood will usually show if the saw is going to break down or fall on it's face. Or is every 30-50 year old running saw sold on the bay supposed to be a Lee Harvey restoration, cuz that sure changes the price point a bit.

By the way, the last four feedback from you were:
"AS pictured" Pioneer P62
"Nice saw" Solo 603 (a BEAUTIFUL SAW)
"Nice saw" Mac 890
"Good deal" Solo 635
That is every saw I have sold you that I can see going back as far as March 2008 (as far back as my feedback as a seller goes)

That seller is way too proud of his chainsaws.

WTH?

Hey Hoss, let's review here. You bought a saw that may have had an unseen problem not disclosed by the seller. You sell saws all the time and don't disclose all the problems. For instance, that Pioneer P62 leaks bar oil into the crankcase. Either you knew it, or you are the worst saw mechanic in the world. I pretty much never leave bad feedback, plus you make it clear in your listing that you don't want to hear about it. I just am not going to keep my mouth shut when I see you complaining about being on the other end of the stick.

I buy lots of saws, but I will never buy another from you. I think that says more than anything.

If you just sold a Homelite 2000, and then bought another, you have the appearance of a saw flipper. Flippers are not highly regarded on this site. We will see how you describe this next 2000 if you flip it.

Well, I'm done with this conversation. You can just go on being you. Don't think that it doesn't have consequences though.

First off I was not even complaining about the other seller as it was Lee that brought up the possibility of scoring not me. Even Then I still said I was hoping for the best, so don't make it out like you are on some crusade t right some wrong. Obviously you have been carrying a chip about the P62 and wanted to say something.
Let me say clearly that there has NEVER been a time where a buyer had a problem with a saw I sold that told me about it where I did not make it right to there complete satisfaction. This BTW is exactly what I would have done for you all those months ago if you had told me anything about this.
Also I never claimed to be a saw mechanic. I am a trainer by vocation who also collects chainsaws and happens to like doing my own work on them. Your are right I did not have any idea about the saw leaking oil into the crankcase, but I was clear that the saw had been sitting and even then it cut fine in the video which you also saw and still bought the saw. So because I sold you three saws you liked and one where I missed a problem or it hadn't occurred yet, then that means that I sell crud, even though you never contacted me to see what I would do? Even though you thought I might want to hear about a problem(you are the only buyer so far that has thought that), no one twisted your arm to leave a positive feedback. You could have left a neutral feedback or none. For a guy that claims to not want to leave bad feedback, you sure had no problem bashing me here.
As far as you not buying any more of my saws goes, don't worry, as soon as I saw your 6 months after the fact, sneak attack you were on my blocked bidders list. So PLEASE don't buy any more of my saws.
