Husqvarna 545 Ported Polished Street Rod 550XP Chainsaw | eBay

"I must emphasize, this IS a WORK saw. Unit is to be run on 32:1 Gary Juice only! It will outlast any modern day Poulan and make you the envy of the neighborhood......Even if you live in TN.

Auction buy it now price is power head only and will only be allowed to run it on my property. EPA regulations forbid the shipment of altered saws. Appointments may be made two months in advance to cut your wood on my property."

Best ebay ad ever. Thanks for making my day.

"Your offer of US $200,000.00 has been sent to the seller. Good luck!"

My 202 has the comp. release but none of the 306A's I have had it.

Makes it actually awkward to start the 202 despite being easier to pull over. The fast idle kicks out when you kick the release off.

Yep. 306A saws never had the comp release. 306SA saws did.

Not sure if this is the same with the 306SA saws, but there are two types of 245SA saws. Earlier ones (such as my Dayton branded version) have the integrated throttle lock/decomp button like your 202. Later 245SA saws had the 'normal' throttle lock thumb rocker, with a 'normal' push button self-closing comp release button over the muffler.

I recognize the seller's name and I know I have bought from them, though I can not remember what it was. Poulan 325 rare? Ehh.... I reckon is more rare than some but you can find them. $390 rare? Uhh...... Not in my book.

Rare is a overused word sometime, but there uncommon for sure and you cant find one at a drop of a hats.

Dont be surprised if it sells for that. There factory hot rods that will whip newer saws in its class.

I want to thank Mr. Warped 5 for this post. I don't know what happened to it, but there was also a link to a craigslist ad for a pair of Echo 1200's when it was first posted. One was supposed to be a runner and one was suppoesd to be for parts. Anyway I was able to make the deal, no fuss no muss and no bidding war (which was nice). The saws have come in and sure enough the runner ran real nice and the best part is that the parts saw was missing the air filter and starter but compression was great on both saws and both had spark so on a hunch I swapped the starter (three bolts) onto the parts saw and sure as shootin it was a runner too. Anyway I will post a thread about them with pics later, but just wanted to say thanks for the post and this thread in general. This was a model I always wanted (and always bugged Lee about), but thought I would never run across and I wouldn't have if it weren't for this thread. Thanks again for the tip on these.

Nice of you to thank him, but personally, I wasn't happy to find he posted them here that fast as they were already gone when I found them on CL. They were local to me.

Not complaining just pointing that this thread can be a double edged sword.
