Or you can cut and lift it with your back! I had one say if you cut it, I will clean it up I cut the rounds in 16s but they were 36 dbh and he said it ain't firewood yet lol. I told him I would charge more to split than it would have been hauled in 18 foot length and he just looked confused:laugh: He ended up paying me 125 a cord to split it  He saved a hundred bucks on original bid and paid 3 times that to have us split so it cost him 2 bones more for the job but he got wood! He was happy and we were too:clap:

We always remove the wood. Leaving for the homeowner and telling them to post it on CraigsList, or having a wood scavenger come onto their property not only opens them up to potential lawsuits, but also looks amatuerish. We operate in an urban area where noone has an outdoor wood furnace and not many people burn firewood so it's pretty much standard to just get rid of it.

Yup.

I only leave the wood on less than 10% of jobs where the HO wants to keep the wood for themselves and even in those instances I size the HO up to make sure they can handle the wood and have an understanding of the amount of work it will take to process. I couldn't even imagine bringing other people onto my customer's property to do the job I was hired to do.

2 at a time!? you wild man!

Dude thats just stupid and its insulting to me. I easily could do two or three full size donuts at once with out a problem. Them mini things are for beginners.

This thread reminds of the guy that posted on here wanting someone to come take down his trees and then pay him since the trees were so "valuable".

He started it over on Frugal Squirrels, then came here. He essentially got his ass handed to him on both places. I wonder how much he ended paying to have his trees cut down and removed....
