Decent price, seems like a good seller, offers a refund. I've seen 066/660's go for a lot more than that, can't see where you got hurt any.

I agree...I try and avoid E-bay when possible. Pictures from 4 feet away hide alot of stuff.

I think by the wording of that and the description you are guarenteed to get an orange, stihl, ms 660 chainsaw in 'excellent', nothing else.

Last one I bought off ebay (last year) from a member here is an awsome saw, modded, dual port muffler, wrap handle and still runs awsome. and I paid half of that. at $600+, plus shipping, why not buy a new one at retail? only @ $250 more.

Not sure where you got that number from Ralph, I was qouted just 2 weeks ago or so $1032 660 with a 32" bar?

The owner likes it if we only buy a couple saws from him per year. He doesnt want anyone re-selling and making money. I have already bought a 460, and am going to be picking up a 441, or 361 later on in the fall. Plus if this saw is how it appears....low hours....its a good deal. I coulnt touch this price even with our employee discount, we have to pay sales tax too.

I was at ronnie's last week. NIB 660 mag $999. Right there by the time you up to a 32" B&C
auction went to 612 + 39ship=651 Ok, I see your question, $350 instead of $250. Musta been late last nite!
Dunno if thats enough to make a diff towards a new saw. Still way high to me on a risk saw from ebay.

It seems to be a VERY common pratice Jeff. They get screwed once or twice, and everybody is a theif so nobody gets the good deals anymore. Sad state our world is getting to be in.
