Ok, BIL brought in the last two oaks yesterday. They came off the trailer a lot quicker and easier than the first one did. Now, as soon as he gets the LT30 tuned up, and if the weather cooperates, we can turn these sticks into some decent lumber. As usual, the slabs and cut-offs will go in the firewood pile.

Nice Logs
What would that big one weigh (approx.)

Hope you show some pictures of cutting them.

I could figure out the approximate weight, but haven't done it yet. It's heavy, real heavy. I'll get pics when we start on it. No guarantee when that will happen. BIL works a "full time plus" regular job that keeps him pretty busy. We'll get around to it. There's also a nice 8' or so cherry lying behind those oaks, and another one on the ground nearby.

nice!!!!!!!!:msp_thumbup::clap:

Thank ya. I really enjoy working with the mill. If you ever get a chance to do it, be careful or you'll end up with something akin to FAD. :laugh:
I'm gonna have to build a lumber shed next to my woodshed. And buy a bunch more woodworking tools. :msp_ohmy:

Carefully, very carefully. Those things can squash you like a bug if something goes wrong. :msp_ohmy:
