From previous thread cuttinscott said the carbs were as follows:
The Dolmar PS9000 had a BING 49-B carburetor
The Dolmar PS9010 has a Tilloston HS 294/5 carburetor
I'm upgrading the ignition on my Makita 9000 to the 9010 ignition and wondering if I need to upgrade the carb, or if the carb will fit if I upgrade it later. I also want to know what the correct carb part number is if I can upgrade as looking online I seemed to find multiple 9010 carbs at edge and engines.
I'm hoping I can get by with the current carb but it might need a rebuild anyway. The previous owner had it sitting for many years before I picked it up. Had it running a few weeks ago but after letting it sit during vacation it's not popping. He had it in the shop before I bought it and the carb had been gummed up with old gas.
