 Anyone see the man who got struck in a pine tree in Texas trying to get his pet bird? Go figure he couldn't't figure out how to get down. They said he was around a 100 ft up. I saw in on TV not sure what to helicopter in the pic is doing but a coast guard helicopter picked him out of the tree. After they said the water rescue team could not reach him with a rope??? I would like to know what their plan was.

Hey! On the bright side, the guy freeclimbed to 60 ft., captured his $2000 parrot and didn't fall. Just had a little trouble finishing the mission. Fire department couldn't roll their ladder truck up to the tree. So why didn't they call in a qualified arborist/rescue climber? Every fire department should have a few on file. It looks like all the rescue crews got to play with their expensive toys (helicopter etc.).

Although when you don't spell it right.........................

I know how to spell it. Say it how I spelled it (Id-yit) and your Yankee tongue might become confused. Or should I just "pahk tha cah" j/k
