Unfortunately the law makers in Mass tend to be left handed, and underhanded. They are trying to reign wood burning in, just like they have put there thumb on the peoples gun rights in that state.

The more of these rules and regs that pop up, the more people ignorantly think that they are a good idea and try for their area. It is up to us as a group of interested wood burners to keep our eyes open and fight this crap legislation as it appears.

Amazingly Its proven the burning wood, releases less carbon particles into the air then burning any fossil fuel. Yet these laws keep popping up in the interest of saving the environment and public health. Wood is sustainable, and oil, coal, etc. are not. It doesn't pollute like Nuclear, and no wars ( that Im aware of ) have been fought over firewood.
