All of my 10 series saws with 28" bar are fit with 93 DL, I think you will discover it is difficult to fit a new chain on a saw with 92 DL.

You're right Mark, it was a little tight, but I was able to get it on there without too much difficulty.
I'll see how it works over time. Right now it's a full comp chipper, ideally I'd like a skip tooth chipper to keep the chain speed up.
But then again, it seems to enjoy building torque at the lower speeds.

Got the super 2-10 up and going. tank gasket was seeping so I cut a new one. found alittle spot of bad corrosion in the tank bottom so when I tested it with a screwdriver it whent right through. the only tank bottom I had for the neat carb adjustments had the OP lever slot in it. oh well, it runs nice though!

89732 = 70 cc 10 series saws, thin ring version. I am sure that I once paid $30 for one set in an excitable moment with an e-bay BIN.
87166 = 70 cc 10 series saw, thick ring version.
One of my 7-10's is the thick ring version and it still run like a striped ape.

Steve - clean out the bottom of that tank, sand or grind or sandblast to get it perfectly clean, then put of piece of tape over the hole (on the bottom) and fill it with JB Weld. I have patched several fuel tanks, gear cases, and oiler housings that way. All seem to hold up very well to the limited use I give them.

Hello I am new to this forum . I hope someone can help me I have an old McCulloch Mac 5-10 dsp saw and it fires over but can not get it to idol or run . Is there trick to these lol also it has bullfrog carb on it I went through carb everything functions as it should anyone know carb settings please help

Joey, I plan on bringing all of them. also binging the big bar on the 250. that maple was alittle soft in that video but it still runs pretty strong. I just bought a 10-10S that needs some love and plan on it riding along too. No 82cc macs for me yet! I am coming down to Kentucky lake with the inlaws for the weekend and have a whole horse trailer to fill with saws so why not!

Mark the 87166 rings are only for chrome bore though? I ordered a set for the super 6-10 I redid but the tech note in the box stated for chrome bore only. so I had to get a new thin ring piston and some 89732 rings. I saw these for 10 bucks a set with free shipping so I bought every set he had. Ive paid 30 bucks a set too, for my CP-70.

gehos - You need to determine if yours is a single needle or double needle version, we can probably give some aid from there. Did you check the little duck bill valve in the carburetor body? They are frequently turned to tar and will impact the operation of the primer.
That sounds right on the chrome bore only Steve, but if the saw already has the thick ring piston it is safe to assume it was a chrome bore unless someone Frank'd it before you got it.

Mark, my ipl for the 15-600055 S6-10A shows two piston options 85239 and 85240 with the same 85241 ring set. I know the early 12 prefix 6-10 had a full skirt piston like a 54cc 10 series which would be the 85240 piston. somewhere like all things mcculloch, they just stopped using the thick rings and swapped to thin rings without changing the 85239 half skirt piston number I guess. I know my first s6-10a prefix 17 had the thin rings in it but the ipl still states it uses the 85241 rings and 85239 piston. Every 6-10 I have ever touched (5 by my count) had the iron bore.
