It’s the same guy I got my PM850 and 5-10 from. Both saws were in well used but good condition, and very reasonably priced; great guy to talk with too.
I did contact him about the PM8200, he says it’s spotless and apparently the previous owner used it to cut slabs, of which I know nothing.
What would be a fair price for the saw, provided it’s as nice inside as out?

No Remingtons in my shed but I have a “John Deere” that sure looks similar if I remember correctly. I’m the rookie of rookies and have no idea who made the John Deere but if it was Remington and it is something you could use, I’m nit deeply attached.

Me too I just got my first vintage saw this week. I have alot of newer echos. I think John deere put there name on a few different manufacturers of saws. Thanks! I will keep that in mind

FWIW,John Deere had many saw makers over the yrs. - Remington,Homelite,Echo,& Efco were some.J.D.bought Homelite in cica 1994 & ran them into the toilet & what was left they sold to another co.who in turn sold them to Ryobi who is now using the Homelite name.Nothing runs like a Deere & nothing smells like a John.

I had my first n.o.s. Mac parts score! I was at a non-local Ace looking for a carb kit when I noticed a bag with a 10-series fuel line in it. I asked the counter guy if it was genuine or not and he said it was a leftover genuine part from way back when. $9.79 later and it is happily sitting on my desk. I don’t need it yet, but as it cost less than the Proline version I couldn’t pass it up.

I had a visitor this week, the Duke himself... Chris Theirof of Traverse Creek/Saw Salvage.com. Chris came out to put together a video tour of the museum and our long, boring conversation. Watch his YouTube channel for more on that.

We even had the opportunity to take a few big saws to the brush dump and let a
Chris try an SP105, SP125, and CP125. I don't know if he will include any of those photos/videos.

Chris also brought 5 boxes of NOS parts that I purchased through a Facebook listing from someone in PA. I've been working my way through the boxes and while there are no pots of gold so far there have been many good to have old parts. There are many OEM fasteners that will be nice to have on hand as well.

I will try to post some photos when I have a chance.

I know heimannm has a lot of McCulloch Chain Saws, as well as myself, I was wondering if anybody else has a few McCullochs in their collection of Chain Saws, and are they for work, or for display. Thanks for your input. Bruce.

Im working on a I 70 and I plan to use it ,when im done. I also have a homelite C 72 which i use from time to time.
