Thank you so much!Bob Johnson can only be reached by phone or fax - 607-638-9297.
Thank you very much. This guy on ebay has a few .020 oversize pistons. The price doesn't seem too bad to me. I've gotten kart parts from him before. Easy to deal with.

I may have a good used piston from an S44A that will fit your 1-70. I'll have a look in the bin tomorrow and let ya know

If you haven't determined it yet, 9/64 for the recoil cover and 5/32 for the fan housing. Can anyone tell me the size Allen key I need for the fan housing/starter side of a PM700?
Thank you!!! They seem like standard sizes on sets I can buy here.If you haven't determined it yet, 9/64 for the recoil cover and 5/32 for the fan housing.
Got ahold of him today. Think he has most of what I will need. Thanks again.Thank you so much!

What does those numbers tell you and that marking. Someone swapped the tank lid and air cleaner cover. They don't fit the original air filter The exhaust ports are two holes, and they cylinder is heavily ported. What sort of info you after?
Yep,someone has thought of it already. That's exactly what I was going to do,only I was going to use a Homelite 68046 grommet (it fits perfectly) & use a pump cover from a mini Mac carb with the nipple on it.Only difference with the line was I was going to use a Tygon line,& yes pull it back in the tank as the recoil goes on the saw.I think it beats that half fast set up that's on the carb to begin with.I'll work on it tomorrow if I'm feeling up to it.Ed - someone posted a long while back about using a Stihl grommet of some sort, I am not sure what/how they made the connection with the fuel inlet. I suppose in a pinch you could change the fuel pump cover with a Mini Mac and have a regular nipple to attach a fuel line to the carburetor, but then you have to figure out how to route/tuck it in the when the flywheel cover/fuel tank are installed or pull it all back into the tank.
