Here is a clean except for the broken oil tank 8200 I picked up. I have another fron case to see about swapping.

I hope everything mates properly for you. You should enjoy running this saw once you get it together. I wish I knew the engineering story on the PM8200 and the DE80 as I believe their production overlapped. Ron
Sounded right to me, But I only have limited experience with those saws.
Bob - I don't know if it will help you but there is a PM800 oil tank for sale on e-bay right now.

How much you pick it up for?
Shop at a hobby or craft store for a leather punch. You want one with the wheel of multiple sizes. Just made some gaskets for a Poulan oiler and a Mac carb adaptor.
Muffler gasket? Very, very seldom have I found a gasket between the muffler and the exhaust port. Not saying one shouldn't be there but in the real world they are rare.
And, the next day I find a gasket under the muffler on the Pioneer 1200 I got saturday.
Spent a whole $40 on it. There is also a 440 mac at the same shop.

I got the call will go out tomorrow mourning to pick it up. For $20 I could not say no. Damn CAD!

I wagered a 7-55 recently that an AS member couldn't make a 47 run and cut.
Now I don't have that 7-55 to deal with anymore.
Igpoe:fart:
finally got a Mac ... been keeping an eye out for a local SP125.
a Mac 250 popped up so took it home, along with an old David Bradley.
