As well you should be excited. When I first got that 790 fired up I was dancing around the pad in front of the garage, giggling like a schoolboy.

My top bid was $265, guess I should have gone to $300. Based on the way my 1-85 runs and the way that one looked, I think it would have been a very desireable saw to own.

I wandered in to a sawshop near Eureka to ask about old saws, the guy said there weren't any. His wife came flying out of the office and said take a bunch of that junk upstairs. I hauled nine big saws down a steep, narrow stairway. I went back a month later, with a trailer.
