Alain,

That's your small list????:jawdrop:

Can you peak at your 610 and let me know if the pics I have posted of my chain brake on my 650 look right? I believe they are similar...

Hmmm......are you sure you aren't winding the spring around the opposite way?

No! That is why I am hoping to see a pic of one installed correctly. I think I have it in the right place but it sure seems to be fighting me. :chainsaw:

Alain

Hello Alain
Geeezzz! That's a very small list you have there LOL! Just how big is your storage area for all those yellow machines and the rest of your collection?
Lawrence

Alain,

Dam, Alain you have more Mac's than me.
Nice list of saws.

Lee

Very nice start Alain.

I am very jealous of the BP-1, one McCulloch saw I long to have but so far, no luck. I would also like to have a 797 but they seem to be hard to come by as well.

I have at least one 1-40 and a D-30 with the Lubri-Mac system as well, obviously McCulloch was way ahead of the curve on the automatic oiler philosophy. It just took them a long time before they caught on again.

A couple of photo's of one of the latest into my fold, currently non runner as the tank will require a serious cleaning but it has spark and reasonable compression. In case you don't recognize it, that is a McCulloch 200 (4.9 cubic inch/80 cc).

Nice bow Mark!!!

.

yo, i have a McCulloch 8-42, its a newer saw similar to a poulan pro, i got it as a replacement for something i brought from argos, odd because the thing i brought was a lawnmower.
i want one of the top handled saws, maybe a mini mac

That saw came just as you see it, and it is as clean behind the covers as it is on the outside...

...except, of course, inside the fuel tank. Terrible case of sludge and varnish. Wish I could come up with a good way to really clean it out without having to take the tank apart.

Good strong spark and fires right off with a little mix down the throat of the carburetor but the fuel lines and filter must be replaced as well as a thorough carburetor job before I can claim it as a runner.
