the chain was a little loose so i know it wasnt bindin up, and it is getting plenty of bar oil to the chain, the carb is a tilly HL and that is a good thought since i have not rebuilt the carb since i bought it i didnt think i needed to by the way it was running on the bench but i might have been wrong. this was the first time that i got to put it in some decent sized wood.

is chainsawr.com a good place to buy carb kits for the tilly hl carb? since i need two of them one for my 1-51 and my 250.

Can I join your guys club now?

Yes, do you know the secret handshake? If you don't, then RandyMac must write your name into the book... I don't have the authorization to write names into the book unless the person to be accepted into the club knows and shows the secret handshake.

Lots of hoops to jump through, eh? :D

Welcome to Club Mac. :)

RK 88 HL, and yup, they're a good source. It'll be on your doorstep before you can blink... my experience with them anyway.

the other thing i was going to tell you is that the fuel in the tank was boiling pretty good as well dont know if it makes much differance but i have read that it is pretty common in this tread. is there a reason why it boils besides for the heat?

Check your cap and make sure the vent isn't plugged up. Come to think of it, that may be why it's nosing over in the cut on you, too.

The saw motor is most likely jamed up
with saw dust and crud. Sould take it
partially appart and clean so you can
get good air flow from the flywheel.

You missed an opportunity to run my 797 and CP125 Saturday.

Chris B.

I know, I saw them, and meant to get back over to them, but the day was...well....a bit hectic. Im pretty sure it would had taken 2 or 3 days to run all the saws we had here.

I might possibly have a 1-76 coming sometime or another. That should be a fun saw.
