Can I join the club now? :chainsawguy:
Just got this one in the mail today. Got it from another member on the forum. It was listed in the classifieds. Haven't had much of a chance to check it out yet. I did pull the muffler and the p&c look pretty good. Compression seems good too but I haven't put the comp tester on it. She needs a good cleaning! The only thing i've found is some hard stuff on the top corner of the fuel tank. I'm guessing I'll find a crack or hole under there. Probably won't get to work on it much till next week. This is my weekend to work. :msp_angry:
Didn't get to the computer at all yesterday Shane, so I couldn' check the IPL's until now. Sorry...
A bit late, since you already figured out what saw you have, but I'll go ahead and post the block numbers since I said I would. May come in handy for somebody in the future...
The block # for the CP125/CP125C is 84071.
The block # for the SP125/SP125C is 91110.
Just a quick question about 125/101 carbs-were sdc's ever used on 125 as OEM?
My "125" has an SDC. I know that lots of carbs can be swapped, but can't a guy dream until he gets home!!
I saw no numbers on the bottom of the block but did see something that concerns me. THere is stamped on a raised round portion of the block a u on its side and a C on the other side. Does this indicate it is not a SP but rather a CP. What exactly is the difference between the two perfomance wise.
I have been sicker than a dog so have spent little time in the garage. There is still oil in the cylinder so I have to dig into that. I would like the hear it fire.
I measured the bore and it is 58mm
Here are a few more pics.
I also picked up a Carlton 36" bar from Bailey's a couple of weeks ago. They were on closeout for a pretty good price. It's a Stihl 880 bar mount that I'm going to modify for large mount mac use.
I tried in Beg for manuals with no luck so I figured I'd try here. Looking for service manuals for:
Mac 140
Power Mac 320
Eager Beaver 2.0
Thanks
I was given a McCulloch Timber Bear (P/N 600134-14). The only parts manual I could find on the internet was from Jan 1987. It only goes up to P/N 600134-06. Does that make this saw a Pro Mac 605?? Just wondering as I may need to get parts and want to have the right part numbers. Thanks

My CP has a K where yours has the U. They were the same saw except the CP has a cast iron sleeve and the SP was chromed.
