I appreciate the offer but i think im going to have to pass. However, ill gladly pay the freight on a 55cc or larger saw that you want to unload:laugh:

Get in line Jack! :jester:

BTW.........................................you'd have been better off if you'd have said "54cc or larger saw" since that would have included most of the 10-series.

I'd been scrolling back and forth through those pics for at least 15 minutes late last night........trying to read model tags. I THOUGH I saw a DSP lever on that 795. Since the decal's gone, I couldn't be sure that the dark area in the "DSP spot" wasn't just shadow. Some of those 10-series saws look really good. Mark are there any 70cc 10-series in that batch?

The PM800's certainly a nice score. I tried witout success to read the tag on the bar-less RH start 10-series powerhead just below the intersection of the ratchet straps (with the strap through the handlebar). There's a 'cluster' of three RH start black topped 10-series saws snuggled up by the 795. Lots of GREAT stuff in the Ranger too. You're the man Mark!

I started a new line, now im first. After some wear and tear a 55cc engine will become a 54cc engine:dizzy:

$50 seems very reasonable. Sh!t I just paid that for a working mini mac....oops. I wonder if location has anything to do with the price, being that I live in the most overpriced piece of land in the US. (believe me, I have nothing to show for it:bang:) Is everyone else seeing over inflated prices on these saws? Id put money on it if I call that guy with the 10-10 for $200 and offer him $50 he will hang up the phone on me.:D

I've got that same saw listed on the bay right now and I'll take $50 for mine.

There were several PM700's in the 10's, not sure of the condition of any of them right now. JoeDA25 is at the head of that list.

For anyone coming to the spring GTG, you will have a chance to see the shop as you've never seen it before since I won't be able to move any of this stuff out or give it a good cleaning before then.

Aaron - As noted somewhere above, the big one is a 795. I did pull the plug today, has spark, and also has some bar oil in the cylinder. I pulled it over 10-12 times to clear as much as possible, then stuck the gauge in it...180 PSI.

I won't have any time to mess with it 'till May but it certainly looks interesting.

Ray - We may just have to find another big old saw to put up on the shelf. I do have a few possibilities...

Hopefully I will have some time tomorrow to get the stuff out of the back of the truck, guess I really have to as I am leaving on Monday morning to head down to KC and St. Joe for a few days.

I had a little bit of CAD today, altogether 30 McCullochs on the top layer (sorry that count includes 4 Mini Macs, a 510, and NOS Power Mac 6) plus an entire Ranger load of bars, chain, parts, and documents. It may take a few weeks to get through the parts and figure out exactly what I have.

I'll put some photo's of the non-Mac's over in the Remington Mall and Old Magnesium threads.

Mark

Could you put a couple pics of the PM 6. I kinda sorta have a soft spot for the little ole PM6.

Do I spy a CP125 on the far right? Really sweet! I still have a few still on the wish list and the CP125, 797, Super 550, and 10-10E are all still on the list as are a bunch of others.

Good job.

If your wife gives you any grief over a few saws, show her some photo's of my trailer with 55 saws in it (one day's worth).

Very nice score. Looks like a few right up my alley.

Mark, The one in the far right is either a 795 or a 797 not a CP125

no grief. picked up some of these to help organize them. oop's i forgot that my laptop just broke , pic's on there,. but there are six big racks to store them on and others. took a couple over to member "alleyoop" 's place today so he can do some vertical saw storage. i'll post some better pic's and evaluate them tommrrow.

Where is the starter? Maybe 795L?

Mark

Or someone converted it to left-hand start which was real common around here.
The old-time timber cutters would get used to yanking the starter with their left
arm while working the choke (or primer) with their right hand. When Mac put the
right-hand starter on some of the saw the cutters would quickly switch them over.

Nice haul Fraser. Let me know if you need parts from my graveyard.

Man you are on fire Fraser! ANOTHER SP-81, plus an SP125 (center), an uniditentified front tank Mac with a full-wrap handlebar (left of the SP125), a 795/797 that's been converted to LH start with a 125 clutch cover (far right), a top-tank Mac with a 795/895/797 tank bottom sitting in front of it (hiding behind the front-tank saw), yet another top-tank Mac carcass (further left), and what looks like one of the little Italian Macs (far left edge). Yet another good Yellow Fever day for you my friend. Don't let Mark's 55 saw day intimidate you. He's a professional.

thanks Aaron. i just get them when i can, and when the price is rite.;). the italian job is a 380 with the stay sharp or pwr sharp built in. and theres a two man pwrhead inthere to 99 or 7-55. there a little rough around the ejdes maybe good parts at the worst on a couple.
