When i attended McCulloch's dealer workshop school in the very late seventies i made the mistake of saying how much i thought the Mini Mac series were terrible to work on
so ol Bob Liston the fella in charge of the school stuck me on the production line at various points till i liked them took about a week i'm a slow learner so it seems
never again did i complain about mungrel model saws ......................... McBob

I thought these pic's deserve to be here. Although not made by
Mcculloch, They still wear the Mac name But made buy Sachs Dolmar.
Two SP118's = SD166, The one with out a B+C i just got today the
other i got last week and did a full rebuild on. Both great runners.
And both from the land of Australia.

Do you really need one of those fast splitters too? Must be nice.

Can anyone confirm that this is a flatback carb. It is on a 2-10. I have not been able to make the correct adjustments.

I can't seem to locate the info in this thread, the images all do not seem to match this one.

Thanks.

At some point, there will be a major geological event in the state of MA when the earth collapses under Lee's collection of heavy weights.

Overtrained - I can send the workshop manual pages on the MM oiler, but you will have to PM me with your e-mail address as the file is over 4 MB.

psuiewalsh - Keep searching this thread as there is an pretty complete discussion of the Mac 10 flat back a.k.a. Bullfrog carburetors.

There is also more Bullfrog info in that area of this thread.

Your pull handle has come unstowed:hmm3grin2orange:

Lack of starter spring tension shall be construed as a deliberate attempt on my part to preserve a nice chrome shroud from kick back damage. Nevermind what 123cc at 195psi might do to my fingers, ha ha ow!

Had a little free time to day so I slapped the block of the PM850 into the body of the CP70L and threw on a full wrap and PM850 bottom. It still needs some tuning and I am having a dawg made for the chain brake clutch cover. I have a 24 inch roller nose that will go on it until I find a longer one.

got a shiny part for thesuper250 today. thank you "erb":msp_wink: . i'll mount it up with a pic tomarow.

I bought a couple 8-pin Oregon rims to put on a 10-10 and a 7-10. Turns out though that they are too big. I bought the standard spline -- I take it the McCulloch drum used a different sized spline than the Oregon version? I was kind of bummed. In order for it to work I will now have to buy 2 power-mate drum assemblies.
