Whats the difference between a pro mac 10-10 and just a mac 10-10? Would that warrant a $150 difference if i came across a pro? Those saws you got there look like great runners, def not looking for a shelf queen.:D

Age, mostly. The pro mac is a newer saw. This is not a pro mac 10-10.

No used 10-10 is worth $200. NIB maybe...

For that price it better run AND spit gold out the muffler.

You've got to get past the urge to buy anything yellow at any price.

Well like i said, thats why im asking you guys here. That saw is local to me which is how I prefer to find stuff. Ebay is great but they want $30+ to ship stuff and that to me is just insane. As I find stuff ill check here before I do anything I may regret. Prior to a month ago I only put cars together, what the hell is a chainsaw?:D

The saw looks nice, but I wouldn't pay over $50-$60 for it. That's what I'd pay (at most) for a local saw, or the TOTAL cost of saw and shipping from a feebay seller. I bought a runner 10-10A almost exactly like that saw (except it had the non-chainbrake clutch cover) for $25 at a yard sale last June. Cleaned it up, rebuilt the carb, and replaced the chain and a few other minor bits and gave it away in a raffle here to help a fellow who's shop had burned down.

$50 seems very reasonable. Sh!t I just paid that for a working mini mac....oops. I wonder if location has anything to do with the price, being that I live in the most overpriced piece of land in the US. (believe me, I have nothing to show for it:bang:) Is everyone else seeing over inflated prices on these saws? Id put money on it if I call that guy with the 10-10 for $200 and offer him $50 he will hang up the phone on me.:D

Here's a couple i got a few weeks ago

First is this really clean PM800. Had to rebuild the carb.
Had sat for years.
Next it this really clean 10-10S, Also had to rebuild carb
and replace the gas tank gasket. Both run excellent now.
