the 7-55 and 99 are161cc's , the 940 was 103cc and the 12-25 and 5-49 were 130 cc. i have three 99's a 5-49 and 7-55. only have one 99 running now with a 7' bar. heavy sob. if you get one and clean the carb out be genital with the diaphram there hard to come by. i need to see about making a manifold for a modern carb so they will run consistently. still learning these things . defiantly different animals.

What does one need to take apart to put it back where it belongs

I used that 940 by myself, but I was a 20 something and only bucked with it.

Don't quote me but I think you have to remove the rear shroud which first involves taking off the tank/handle.

There might be holes in the shroud. That thing is supposed to lock the screws in.

Thanks. Looking at a 5-49 tomorrow. I believe it also claims 1 or 2 man operation. 49 lbs PHO. I'll leave that one man operation to the Emperor.

I am trying to wait out the weather before laying down. It has been quite nasty but we are looking clear for a little bit now. NOthign bad right in our imediate area but south of Omaha was hit hard today. makes me to nervous to go to bed.
