Looks good, Mark!

Has the uber-cool recoil 'roller' too ..

I've got a bar like that waiting for my PM800 ..

Is that a factory spike?

That looks to be a set of H&S redwood spikes. Don't see those for the 10-series very often. The only 10-series saws they really 'make sense' on are the 82cc models. Here's an H&S spike set on my 740W1.

Looks like she'll make a nice runner when broken in, Joey.

Do us a favor though, make yourself a set of sawbucks. Those concrete blocks had me cringing before I even hit play!

I hear ya, I've found out the hard way that a chain loses in a fight against concrete. Only once though.

The PM8200 lives! You can see that I'm finding the limits of the saw using a 32" bar and cutting with the grain. I can push pretty hard and it will keep digging but it doesn't have the power of my PM850 with that 38" bar. When the spikes bit and you use that for leverage, i can stop the chain. Maybe when it gets broke in the power will come up a bit.

Nice job!

You got any sauce and cheese to go with those noodles? :jester:

Oh, about the oiler problem. I cut the rod a little shorter and now it works great. What's up with that?

Aaron, I bet that oiler kit is to be used to replace the older style oiler used in the sp80, sp82, etc.

Who knows? They could have 'improved' the oiler setup at any time along the run. Glad to hear it's working fine now Joey.

I worked on the DE80 last night. I'm a little disappointed in the engine RPM. Where is the governor on this thing? It has a SDC-85 that I swapped out for a SDC-38A. With both carbs, the max RPM is right at 10k. I put the SDC-85 back in and it seems to run good but slow. When I blip the the throttle, it will jump almost to 11k for one second and back down to 10k. I can't change that outcome with the high side adjustment or either carb. Later today, I'll swap the coil and see if that helps.

since i've been focusing on the 82cc Macs lately, i made a cross reference sheet for the most common used parts. feel free to download it and keep it, add to it, delete, whatever. i'm not sure of this accuracy, you guys can tell me where the errors are.

i've tried to attach file but i can't do it. anyone know how? i can email the file to you

To all: Here's a LINK to Joey's chart. It's in *.PDF form, so most of you can read it. Enjoy!

That's a sweet saw mcbob. I just bought my cp125. I have a nice bicentennial mc101 I have had laying around for a while I plan sticking in it. I just really need a big bar. How did you come across the chrome shrouds? Or are they polished?

You can find these on eBay regularly but be prepared to part with a small sum of $$$. Ron
