Black Ops!

Down but not out.

NOTE: Wallenberg is now out of business. Sold their inventory out to about 5 buyers as I heard, but I wonder if Bob has any ..?

I spoke to Harry Wallenberg just a few minutes ago. He said that he is not out of business; he lost his IT man so his website is gone and emails as well. His telephone number is: (562) 698-2543 Fax (562) 464-9594. Ron

Funny you say that Ron... He called me two days ago and we spoke about that same thing. He's still going and assured me, has lots of Mac parts!

Wallenberg sales Is 5 miles away from me here. I have been there a few times. I looked
through all is inventory he has lots of small Mac 6 , mini mac, eager beaver type parts.
Still had McCulloch/Partner parts. He dose not have much of anything in the other
Mac saws a few bits and pieces here and there.
He still has his parts connections but there not cheap.
He has called me a few times looking for parts and bars for his customers.

Well I went through the latest SP81 that I got, the fully adjustable carb was junk and the only running carb I have is a fixed jet so until I can rebuild a fully adjustable carb it will have to do. The saw fires and runs great with finger ripping compression but when it gets warm it starts to cut out and will die, so I am going to have to swap out the coil for a better one, oh well easy fix. Here are the pics of both SP81's

From my dealings with him, I get the impression that most of the parts I want he gets from others. Since I don't have any non-web sources, his bird-dogging has been very useful to me. I can't address prices, if he quotes too much I just pass. Ron

Nice. Everytime I see a nice specimen, I feel a little regret that I gave away my project SP81E and sold my NOS cylinder. Hopefully, someone will find the pieces he is missing and will report back to us on how much fun he is having with the SP81E. Ron

You might not know what to do with those Ten Series, but I bet you have some ideas on what to do with these two paperweights that showed up in the mail today. Ron

Didn't realize he called on you for parts supply, just assumed he has the inventory to rely on. He did mention that he had access to other suppliers.... and now reading this thread, meaning you. Added your name to my contacts list now that I know you supply good Mac parts!:taped:

Maybe that's why his shipping was...... SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.......OOOOOOOOW!

I have a 1-86 that starts with a prime and runs for a second or so. At the N Cal GTG, Eccentric said that a HL 19 or 103 carb would be a better carb for the saw. I have the primer button that isn't working. Does anyone have a Tilly HL 19 or 103 that they want to part with?
THANKS

Eccentric is correct with the HL19 or 103. But you
can also use the HL63 which to me is a much easier
carb to find. You just have to either cut the air filter
mounting stud or replace it with a short bolt that
screws in where the stud is. Hard to describe with
out a pic. But in either case it's a very simple swap
and the saw will love you.

I bought tons of stuff from Wallenberg's back in late 90's when Mac parts were still dirt cheap at most places. So I'm partially to blame for them not having the big saw stuff anymore. I was paying $40 for new cylinders at the time and $12-15 for new pistons.

Another Mac parts supplier... I'll take two pistons @$12 and a cylinder for $40 please... call it $75 with shipping? :msp_unsure:

At the GTG, Eccentric had a saw with the 63 carb on it to show me the difference. Now I have to hand prime the carb and it is hard not to flood it. Hopefully someone has a carb.
THANKS
