SP81 (project), PM60 (parts), 10-10 (parts-scored), Titan 50 (parts), Titan 57 (complete), 10-10S (complete), 10-10S Special Edition (sweet), PM55 (project), two unidentified 10 Series (parts), and a 3-25 complete with 30" Goose bar, needs a diaphragm that I have at home.

It looks like the guy used a Mac 1-5X handle bar??? And a pm800 skid. That's actually not a bad idea if its secure and safe.

if you look closely you can still see the original lower rear handle bar sitting on top of the wider 800 skid plate, and that full wrap looks nothing like a 10x full wrap I have ever seen, plus no dawgs? Either it is a frakensaw from McCulloch at the end of the 10x run or home made parts swap.

Dammit. There's a better picture of Mark's saw here..........but I haven't found it after searching 100+ pages of this thread. I think it's in the 10-10 thread...:dizzy:

here goes nothing....

McCulloch Eager Beaver (same as 610) 3.7ci rebuilt to new by John Yarberry
New C&P, new carburetor and many many other new parts in it.. (too long of a list)

There are more.. shall I....?

Maybe it's enough..?

Let me know.

McCulloch 610

Gentlemen,

I just received a McCulloch 610.
Cleaned it up, and going over the saw.
Noticed the Air Filter is like the old Stihls and Pioneers.
Flat and flocked.
How rare are these filters?
Question on the fuel line, Cranked it over a few times and no start. Decied to check the fuel line/filter and noticed the ful line ends with a cup in the tank.
The filter is some fleece pushed into the cup. I noticed that the ful line was collapsing. My question/thoughts are to just replace the existing fuel with regular line and use a regular fule filter.
Is it just that simple, or am I missing something?

It has to seal the tank hole for the line. Used Tygon many times for this. What you have is not original, just a common Mac line. And it is as simple as it is on a 600 series.

AF are common, Stens or Oregon both stock them yet as well as your friendly Mac parts guy. About $7-8.

Thanks for the info!!!

Cat, there were two different fuel tanks used on the 610 series, each with their own fuel line p/n. One line is pre-formed with a grommet to seal at the tank and the end to hold a filter element, while the other style line is rather a straight piece of hose. The p/n for the first type is 94899.

i acquired a pm60 with the same setup cat face described and also with a collapsed fuel line. the fuel line i got from my AM dealer had a "grommet" in the center to seal off the fuel tank and a plain end to accept an AM fuel filter.
be advised i had to wrap the fat part of the line with teflon tape where it went through the tank wall to get it to seal. i got that trick on AS; heard the leaking is a common occurrence.
