Having so little capacity on my digital cam I decided to check out the Kodak Playsport that recently came out. It is so easy to handle and use and waterproof to 10 feet.

Today I put it on my climb helmet with a flexible tripod and took a little vid and took a few more and am pretty happy with the quality and ease of use.

Anyone else try one of these? I will put up a vid when I download it overnight.

Here is the first vid of nothing special, just cutting a diseased maple back over the wires with the big bucket. I attached the cam to my helmet with a cheap flexible tripod that was free with my wife's digital cam. It had a rather high profile and flopped a little so it was hit and moved at times.

They sell a band to attach it to the helmet and a pocket remote that I am also going to buy, but right now all I have into it is $149+tx.

Here is my latest effort....hopefully an improvement over the one that filmed the vid earlier in this thread that was kinda a Rube Goldberg, Jomoco, Ralph Cramden sorta thang. It was a small flexible tripod attached in 2 holes into my climbing helmet and the front leg just resting on the front.

Hoping someone else owns one or buys one of these so's we can yak about it....
