Got this saw and am working on it with my small engine kids. Locked up and figured it had bearing issues or bad piston. Tore it apart and it ended up being one of the carb boot screws came out and lodged between the flywheel and case and would not let the crank rotate. Already had the top end off as well(kids love to take stuff apart). So, reassembled with new 1105 sealant. P/C looked great. Wouldn't run except on prime, so cleaned the carb and now it runs, but bogs right when you hit the throttle. It runs great anywhere else, but when you first pull the throttle it can bog or die. I tried opening and closing the L side with no real change other than rpm goes lower as I open the L jet. Can you reinstall the cylinder with the seals in place or do you have to re-tap them in? It is the only thing I wasn't sure of when we reassembled. Otherwise, I am going to fill up the fuel tank and try it on half choke to see if it is starving or too rich. I am a Jonsered guy so this was put together much differently than my old red ones.
