So sap when you going to give us the name of the dealer..:yoyo: opcorn:
coveredinsap said:LOL! That's not "negative", that's a fact.....of course big customers such as a saw mill get better service than a little guy. Dude!...you really are a rube!
bmcdjohnson said:Wow, I didn't think my question would start a chain reaction like this. I dropped the saw off at the dealer this morning. I explained what was wrong & they said they would take a look at it. I sure hope they cover any problems - I'm getting nervous now. Anyhow, I'll be sure to let everyone know what happens. I just started cutting my own firewood & have bought two new saws from this dealer within the last 6 months (the MS310 & MS180). If they don't cover the probelm, I will be a little upset, but I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt.

Lakeside53 said:Its' always tricky for both parties. You're sure you didn't break it , and if it is broken, and the Dealer is sure he didn't do it, that only leaves "someone else". If you didn't damage the saw, then stand your ground.
coveredinsap said:That's funny...I was looking at the Echo cs-670 at my stihl dealer and noticed that the the bar/clutch cover was installed wrong..the tabs weren't engaged and the cover wasn't sitting flush with the case. It was sitting all half-cocked. Now who do you suppose did that, a "customer"? Hahahahaha!
Yeah, Stihl dealers are gods.!sigh!

Nobody is going to believe you anymore, There are threes side to a story.
Your side, There side, and the truth.
So why don't you give us the # of where you bought this mystery Sthil of yours so we can get "The rest of the story" (Paul Harvey).
Or be a good girl, ****, and lick your wounds.
Sorry I don't Know what a arse is. Webster dosent list it as a word. try using spellcheck next time. I've been looking around though.coveredinsap said:Are you still here? Quit your whining and move on. If you want the "rest of the story" then pull your head out of your arse and look around.
CaseyForrest said:Funny how he dislikes Stihl so much, but hes there enough to see another saw mis-assembled.
CaseyForrest said:Its also got alot to do with the demeanor of the buyer as well. You get along alot better when you dont have a chip on your shoulder.
CaseyForrest said:Thats quite possible Sap. My dealer has bent over backwards, even let me use his shop and tools to tear my saw down to get parts swapped. He always gets me parts with 2 days if he doesnt stock them.
