Here Mr. THALL10326, THALL THALL....

Nice Mr. THALL.....

You ole orenry sucker if ya didn't mind waiting a minute I'd look up all the part numbers you need to get you all those parts you want but I know how you are,:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

:hmm3grin2orange:

How is your visit to "grumpy ol' Thall" going - is he really that grumpy...:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Hahaha, I was right behind River when he posted that and yes I've been laffing the whole time. Fooled that ole Tom charactor didn't I,LOLOLOL

While in Germany the difference in priorities was notable. You needed to make an appointment for your auto, often quite a while into the future. And the mechanic worked at an entirely different pace than that Americans are accustomed to. The fact you were afoot made ZERO impact on speed of repair.
Do you get some of that Tom? Haven't yet visited your country but it's on my after I win the lottery list.

Glad your saw is working properly.

I wouldn't put a dog on the chain cover unless you replace it with the magnesium version, but that's just me (..oh yes, and Stihl).

+1 . I also wouldn't want to mount a MS290 on the chaincover :D :D :D
Sorry.. I just had to say it.

No,,, its just his demeanor,, the visit was fun

Well well Mr. Thall.... Thanks for your kind offer. Is this an uncharacteristic bout of altruism?? :biggrinbounce2: I was on the phone today to UK (yes, expensive international call!!) and the UK dealer says the part # I require for the MS390 is #1119 656 7705. This is not the same # 1135 650 7750 as posted on here earlier. Please help Mr. Thall, nice MR. Thall!!

Thank you for your kind remarks Lou ("Do you get some of that Tom? Haven't yet visited your country but it's on my after I win the lottery list"), a brave move with that Mr. Thall lurking around.... And you are most welcome to visit Ireland. PM me when you are on the way and if I can be of any assistance, just ask. Open invitation y'all!!!!

Mr. Lakeside53, can you confirm please that the part number you thankfully supplied is for my new 390 mag cover as I'm phoning my dealer tomorrow?

As for our Mr. Peter399, thanks for your honesty and the kind way in which you expressed it... unlike a certain rough and scarey element around here, but lets mention no names for safery sake eh, Mr. THALL10326

Oh Mr.RiverRat2, is our Mr. THALL really that old? Guess that explains where he gets his "grumpy old men" attitude ;) but, and it is sooooooooo painful to admit this publically, seems Mr. Thall10326 shares something with me... farm! :biggrinbounce2: ;) Any photos of the beautiful countryside you've seen lately?

First off I'm very old, be 91 in June, hehe, ok minus 50 plus 8. Secondly you don't need to call me mister, you can call me Tom, ya hear me Tom,haha. Thirdly I have no attitude at all, I've been having a ball toying with you as Riverrat tried to tell you, haha.

Finally and foremost if you and me have farm in common then your ok in my book. However let me correct you please about these dawgs you want for that saw, a total waste of money. They serve no purpose other than looks if, I say if now, you can run a chainsaw. If ya can't you can always call me Tom and this Tom will advise you on how to do so with delight, hehe. Save ya money and spend it on better things Tom. If you insist on getting those dawgs I'll get back to you oh in about three days with the part numbers,LOL, gotcha..

Sorry.. I just had to say it.

That was good, I must admit,LOL Almost reminds me of putting a green poolan bar cover on a orange Husky saw, even though they fit exact it just doesn't seem right,:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

Why would I "confirm it" - it's not an airline reservation. Tell your dealer to get his act togther and give YOU the part numbers.

What......

Say WHAT?

Is this an offer of help from Mr. "Tom" THALL10326??

:jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

(Thank u!!)

Yup your right, it was just a offer, ahahahaha

If your really intent in fooling with them dayumm things I'll getcha the numbers tomorrow. Right now I'm off the clock, sorry

Thank you Mr. THALL10326. Thats very helpful of you.... no really, it is !!!! Ha Ha.

Eh, my local dealer is not all that great on getting part numbers Mr. Lakeside53, they didn't even hear of wrap around handles until I asked but I'm sure they are doing their best, what with them being a Stihl Dealer.

1125 640 1701

This is the same cover used on the 024, 026, 034, 036, 038, 044, 046, 066 and the MS models...

That cover is worth more than an entire MS390, if you ask me.....

...do you have a boat?

:help: :help: :help: ....just messing.....
