My dads Dayton was never put in wood

This is my dad’s little Dayton chainsaw, he got it from me. It was never put in wood, or even started until the spring. Piston looks new, 0 wood chips/dust under the covers, we regret ever starting it, all we did was put in a new fuel line and it fired up in a few pulls, original warning sticker is still on the bar. We will not use it, just start it once a month to keep the carb good. Bar is cosmetically challenged because the previous owner left the saw outside in rain for 2 weeks.
