As some of you guys know I was operated on and haven't left my hous for about 2 weeks. Well I had a friend take me out today to get a chainsaw box. I snaped a few shots of my local guy's shop. He is the only chainsaw shop that I know of in northern New Jersey. People will travel an hour to get to Joe's, that could also be a 3 mile ride here.
Joe is a very cool cat and always has time to BS, give me some junky saws to play with or sell me something.

Here's a Choremaster, I would have moved some junk around but I cann't right now. Way cool old saw.

Old stihl

This saw is missing some pieces and he will give it to me, it is on top of the box. It has the Log on the name. The other shots I took were poor. If you want it you can have it.

High. My local dealer is $4.95 per gal on bar lube, 24.95 per case (for 6 gallons). Two cycle seems high also.

Neat old saws though. Looks like a neat place.
Here's the website for my local shop. Big and sterile compared to your guy. I'd swap with ya!

You guys outta see this old hardware store in Marion, Texas. If you go to the back, on the right there's a shelf with manuals, parts lists and a computer, then on the left is like a tool room with bars and chains hanging everywhere, and in the VERY back, which is the shop, is full of old mowers, saws, edgers, weedeaters, etc. The mechanic has a huge pile of part saws in the corner, old and not so old. I saw some oldies that were complete and looked great. I've bought lots of parts to fix some of my old mowers there. I'd say it looks like about 100 saws in that pile just waiting to be restored and used. I go there a lot! It's a real cool place to hang around.

Puttin that old 08S back together should keep ya busy, or is it an old S10? Either way have fun.

Grateful11-
Those prices are for Stihl brand oil. There are many discount brands available for less but I was comparing apples with apples. This was not a question of cheapest brand, but an inquiry on comperable cost for the same brand. :)
