I have been wearing those Mechanix anti vibe gloves that I got for Christmas from Mum for hand splitting and running the saw. They seem to hold up well but I am sure that they are spendy even if bought on sale.
What a good topic I spent 15 minutes at the local hardware looking at gloves yesterday and I did notice that the cotton plain gloves were the cheapest. I used to wear those at a factory job that payed my way through school they worked good until they got grease soaked but metal slivers went right through.
Anybody find that wood slivers go through the cotton mesh gloves?
