im putting a new sprocket on my 650evl echo. is it reverse thread or something.
i can put the impact on it but dont want to mess this thing up with this sort of thing . also do u guys recommend a dealer remove it.
one last thing. it has 3/8 7 tooth . will an 8 tooth make it cut faster. it seems to be pretty strong . thanks a head of time. tm

thanks brian . im use to lock rings holding the sprocket thanks much . gonna try the 8 tooth,as all mine are 7. be interesting to see if i can tell how it affects. again thanks much. well back to it. :)

dang, is the clutch plate made to this sprocket. looks like one piece.hope this aint hard to find. if it is i can recondition this sprocket a little, but that will change the 3/8 to 11/32. dont think that would wear well. input appreciated. tm
oh well im working close to pinkstons saw shop today ,i ll see if they got the answer or sprocket ,or what ever. thanks again tm.
by the way brian ,good anology.[truck] i actually understand what u talkin. :)

the new sprocket w clutch plate cost me 17 bucks to order. not to bad.
funny thing ,i took it to and old timer from real old school.from the time when u fixed things with bailin wire or tape.
and they usually last a while too.
anyway he said,, nothin wrong with that sprocket.its good until u start taking the hight of the teeth dn[this sprocket was real chewed up.]it was just,, thinking from a different time.
ps he said a long time ago he ordered an bow bar for a fella . cost him 75 bucks. in any case he still had it hanging on a wall in his shop.
