New to me john deere cs450le

Hello all I just picked this litte guy up Saturday night. I don't know much about it but for 15 bucks I grabbed it. I came with 2 bars and 5 loops of stihl brand chain for the saw. He said it didn't run but with some fresh gas it runs like a champ. The only thing I can't figure out is the red rtv by the oil pump is that factory or did someone break the case at some point. Thanks

Very possible it is factory. EFCO if I remember.
