Guido Salvage. That NOS sure is nice. Reminds me of when I was about 12 looking at my dads 3400 sitting there brand new with the lid of the case open. :clap:

I worked at a Poulan dealer at the time and sold my dad his new 3400!!

He should have bought a 3700 at least, he didn't like the 3400 all that well. He had been running a Super XL for a long time and missed the extra displacement and power. He did like the antivibe.

I`ve been using the original 3400 lately. The one you gave me advice on how to put in the new crank seals. As it`s the only one I can get to oil properly. I did cut some bar oil with kerosene. That seemed to help but prob. just compensating for a week oiling system.
 
Got my new to me craftsman 3,4 today. Nice saw fired right up. needs the usual new fuel lines. would post a pic. but I see the pic. downloader is gone?
