That's interesting. There's a grey 3700 a few pages ago here. Canadian saw though, labelled 3.4 and bought from the original owner. My grey Craftsman 3.7 is a 3800.
I picked up a grey Craftsman at Hedgerows GTG last weekend that is supposed to have thin rings. I haven't had time to pull the muffler yet to verify it, but for $25.00 who cares.

My collection of saws just increased by over 100. Here is just a sample of what I purchased today.much more to follow. I expect to have them all home by this time next week.

$1500. Wait till I get more pics. Fully restored 50's McCulloch, several big jonsereds, an expo 67 special edition 1110 type pioneer. Lots of very old pioneers. Collection dates back to the 40's, including some 98cc monsters

Yes, I was really hoping for some Poulan 3400/3700/4000CV, 4200/5200 saws . Instead a bunch of micros, and a couple newer ones. There's at least one 2150 looking real clean in the bunch. Being Canadian, I do really like Pioneer as well, and they are in the group by the dozens, ranging from 50's saws through to the late 80's.

I have an old Craftsman/Poulan that has stopped running. Nothing catastrophic, pretty sure fuel lines and a carb kit will give me a chance. I can't find an owner's manual on the Sears site, does anyone know what size it is, and which Poulan model it is comparable to? The Craftsman number is 358-351200

Thanks in advance

Here's the CL 8500 score from yesterday. Today, *one* pull with choke on, running and idling! Anyway, depth gauges wayyy too high to cut with it, but some pics. Some bonus pics as well, guy I bought it from with a couple of his toys, the black one is a ford custom, the nose shot is a galaxie, both with 427s...then a mama duck and ducklings and llama at my friends house where I went today to finish up my cherry wood scrounge...
