Here's the CL 8500 score from yesterday. Today, *one* pull with choke on, running and idling! Anyway, depth gauges wayyy too high to cut with it, but some pics. Some bonus pics as well, guy I bought it from with a couple of his toys, the black one is a ford custom, the nose shot is a galaxie, both with 427s...then a mama duck and ducklings and llama at my friends house where I went today to finish up my cherry wood scrounge...
Very nice saw. Fantastic old Fords!!!

What's cool is, that's two weekends in a row I went to go get CL stuff, and the trip included seeing some fantastic machines built by true artists! First weekend was the monster trucks, then these show cars. The pics really don't do the cars justice, the paint jobs were just beautiful. Everything, perfect, interior, exterior, engines. Other side of his shop he has a lift, was showing me how he starts, stripped frame, nothing but frame. Then he gets them blasted and painted and starts from there. Shoulda got some pics of the engines, two fours on them things. I was joking, asked him "what kinda mileage ya get, around 6"? He goes, "Yep, if you put your foot in 'em"! HAHAHAHAHA

Not much beyond a couple micros and a 2150 for Poulans in this haul, but here they are... Just brought home tonight.

I just posted the 4200 PHO project for sale over on the Trading Post if anyone is interested. Found another saw locally I want to pick up.

Finally picked up a bar for the 3400 and in wood but no oil. Long story short - I did not realize that the oil outlet line was shot when I put it all back together - 1st rehab saw, was excited and missed. Those darn lines keep getting me - the impulse line broke on the 3.3 - pulled my arse off and played with the carb for 10 minutes before I realized what was going on LOL. I guess you learn as you go....

I know someone has the answer. Is there a way to replace the outlet line without opening the whole thing? Also the line size and type.

Thanks in advance.
Mark
