I probaly would but They don't exist around here I only know one person that has a 3400I would just get a Poulan 4200 or 5200...Then you wouldn't need a backup saw!

I hear Santa is on the way to my house this year, with a big Poulan. But, he had to stop in Texas to pick it up. Apparently there isn't any big Poulans at the North Pole either. He is bringing me a PP655BP by way of a great fellow Poulan Thread member redunshee (Bob). Thanks again Bob, I can check off a bucket list item that has been illusive.
Gregg,
You need to get some Miracle Grow on those trees in your wood lot.
How much play, the 3400 I just rebuilt had so much I just built using another case assembly, side sims were worn out along with the rod roller bearings. If there some side play in crank of 3400 is that going to be okay

Happy to send it to someone who will enjoy it. It just sat in my garage on the shelf. However CAD struck again. Just picked up off Ebay a 3700(green one) with chainbrake from Canada. Noticed the left half of the throttle handle was split(very common) but believe I have a spare somewhere. Least I hope so. Comp seemed low at 125 but I have rings plus if needed two good P&C's I can swao.I hear Santa is on the way to my house this year, with a big Poulan. But, he had to stop in Texas to pick it up.
