I don't have a handle for one of them Bob, or I send it your way. I have used up most usable parts I had when I put together a 4000 from spare stuff couple years ago. I always figured thats why I had so many of them mid-size Poulans. If one did fail, or get damaged, I would have a parts source handy. But, I just kept making good saws out of spare stuff and buying the odd part I needed off ebay when needed.

Gregg,

Gregg,
Thanks Gregg, but I believe I have one somewhere. If not tape will suffice until I find one. Yea, I have several cases just sitting around and other stuff. My wife calls it junk.

35 years ago when all I had and could afford was a used S25CVA, I used to cut up to that size stuff all the time to keep my home warm. Never really gave it much thought at the time that I needed a bigger saw, the S25 just got it done without any drama or complaints.

Oh and you guys remember that beautiful NOS S25CVA that Chris posted a while back? It now lives here at my place.

I hear Santa is on the way to my house this year, with a big Poulan. But, he had to stop in Texas to pick it up. Apparently there isn't any big Poulans at the North Pole either. :D He is bringing me a PP655BP by way of a great fellow Poulan Thread member redunshee (Bob). Thanks again Bob, I can check off a bucket list item that has been illusive.

Gregg,

Santa has a saw for me that he picked up in Texas as well, also from Bob's place haha! Mine isn't quite as big as Gregg's though, wait what, that came out wrong lol! Poulan 3000, delivery was delayed (weather here I think) but should have it by Tuesday:)

A muffler modded 3000 is a very surprisingly 49cc saw. Mines a ripper.

I still have the Canadian built 3000 also.

I got a 16" on mine, 18"-20" is fine also. I got some 20" .325 bars that would work too if you want to go that route. Yours for shipping.

That's awful generous of you Mark, I suppose I could do that. I was just gonna use the 3000 for smaller wood and limbing but I could still to that with a 20".

Up to you, personally I like the 16" on ,mine but thought since your from the land of Balsa wood and long bars... Well you know. :ices_rofl:

It will still cost a few bucks to send it out there so look around and my offer stands if you decide to go that route.

Ok thanks Mark I appreciate it!
