Make a handle on the gasket! Good move.[emoji106]
I had to put some nuts on fender bolts once in a very tight place. Gas welded a 4" length of filler rod to each one for a handle. Run the screw in and the rod kept the nut from turning.

Poulan 3700, 61 cc. Is it a thin or thick ring version?
I've been known to cuss some of my saws too but wouldn't post myself doing it. So I'd offer him $5 and see what he says. The 24" bar/chain worth way more than that. If you don't want it I will but need contact info

I dont usually buy signs etc without a chainsaw being on them. But I made a exception the other day.

Plus one for a Poulan 3700. And from the side shown that is one very clean Craftsman 3.7; heck the screws holding the recoil/flywheel cover still have red paint in the slots!

Any known trouble spots for the Poulan 655 manual oil pumps? The one on the saw I got recently is not pumping oil, checked the lines on the pump, pulled the oiler and it seemed fine. Also checked the pick up line in the tank and it wasn't plugged. Thoughts?
Also, the K&N filter is pretty dirty, can it be cleaned with the normal K&N cleaner kits?

That is a very nice example. Nice easy to work on saws. Very tough and long lasting.

Hopefully its the thin ringed version, though either one is fine. I did have a thick ringed 3800 version but it had the auto sharp feature. Wonder if that;s the diferance between the thin/thick ring versions.

From what's been posted here, generally speaking (not etched in stone) the red Craftsman 3.7 are thin ringed while the gray ones are thick ringed. I have no idea if the PowerSharp feature makes any difference.
What, no chainsaw. That's nice fire wood, one of those should last a few years plus give you an excuse to get a bigger saw.A few more
