What carb do you have on that saw,is it still the old pioneer carb 21-85?

I run mine a little heavier than I probly need to. But I'm scared of lean burning one

I thought in the first vid it was fine lol ok little rich

I am no expert but sounds decent in cut 3.I am always to rich by a little bit,better safe than sorry.

I agree I think the 1 turn out would be fine I personally wouldn't go any leaner

I think your right I wish the community college would offer a small motor class .
admin told me no one even asks about 2 stroke motors

Strato charged saws not tp hard to work on, just touchy on the settings, start at 1 1/2 turn out on both and let warm up. Set low as usual then work with hi setting. Get it 4stroking and start fine turning it in. Small turns as you go though. Might want to do a mm on the outlet some, will make it come alive. Do so before carb adjustment or you'll be resetting it again.

I'm not suprised by No one asking about 2 strokes anymore. Give it time the jack wagons in power with push them out entirely. But that's another thread.

Three sounded perfect. Watch for leaning out in long sustained cuts in hot weather. Just lift like you were one in a while to make sure it four strokes like in the video.

It should always clean up as soon as you put load on it.

Is your saw wearing Pioneer decals or poulan pro decals?

4218 IMO a good saw for what they were built for.

Change the OEM fuel line pronto = junk. Check the clear other ones too.

Sold this one for $60-$75 cant recall for sure which.

still need a 505 & 525 than 475 Yes I have a problem
