At least that's what I've been told on here plus I can see the difference when I compared the original 3400 piston to the red barn piston. Still see nice chrome on it, needle bearing took it out.

Yep it has been pretty cold here too. Around 5 degrees this morning and up to 15 now. I think I will just stay inside by the stove today.

All that cylinder oddness is why I never fixed my pp335. 2-thin ring piston in chrome bore and all the other bits carb boot ect are like unobtainium.

Yep I think I have 4 or 5 of them. Like JJ said easy to work on and parts easy to find.

Hmn, maybe I gave up to soon. But seriously I gave up at the rubber AV mounts.

Just didn't seem logical to spend money on a saw I got in the 80's for $75 NOS and has cut it's worth every year since till she popped her top 3yrs ago.

Gallons of drain oil for the bar cause I just didn't know better.

As cold as I've seen it here for the end of the year. It's supposed to get near freezing next Monday but snowing. I'm guessing we won't get our early January melt before the freeze this year.

What the heck. Laura was very happy we had a white Christmas. Happy wife........
